Hello!
Thanks for taking a minute to learn a little bit about me. As you know, I teach mathematics and reading for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade.
I am truly glad to have each one of you as a student this year. I feel blessed to have groups of students that WANT to learn more, WANT to get better, are curious and resourceful, and might I add-- some of the most respectful students I have had the opportunity to teach. It is my first year here at Troost, but I have taught in the Kansas City Public School District for five years. I have also taught in other states and countries, including: Kansas, Iowa, and New Zealand (a tiny island by Austrilia).
Outside of school, I enjoy playing tennis, painting, practicing yoga, reading about how things work, and spending time with my new niece, Mary-Kate
